What are the safety features of an Emergency Safety Shower?

What flow rates are required of an Emergency Safety Shower?

Flow rates required under the AS4775 is 1.5L per minute for an eyewash, 11.4L for eye/facewash units and 75.7L for Emergency Safety Showers. They must be delivered at this rate for a full 15 minutes.

Can we keep our Emergency Safety Shower outdoors?

Yes, please consider the temperature range under the Australian Standards, the water should be delivered between 16 - 38°C.
